INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT KOZHIKODE

Spread over about 100 acres of land, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is the 5th IIM to be established by Government of India as an Institute of National Importance. IIMK takes the pride of being one of picturesque and oxy-rich campuses in India. IIM Kozhikode is located on two hillocks 15 kilometres east of Kozhikode city. Kozhikode is a quaint little city on the west coast of India with a history of more than two thousand years. In ancient days, this city was a major port acting as the hub of trade between the west and the east. Greeks, Chinese and Arabs frequented Kozhikode to source the exotic spices like pepper and cardamom. Vasco Da Gama - the famous Portuguese explorer - touched the Indian shores at Kozhikode in the year 1498 opening up a sea route to India for the European nations. Kozhikode has an international airport with flights connecting to other major Indian cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi. Kozhikode also has excellent connectivity to major cities in the Middle East like Dubai, Abu Dhabi , Sharjah, Doha, Baharin, and Muscat . IIM Kozhikode is just 45 minutes by car from the International airport.
