Mr. Anand Kulkarni is an experienced auto industry veteran, having around 30 years experience with Tata Motors.

In his long career with Tata Motors, he has worked extensively in areas of Testing and Validation, Facility Creation, Vehicle Engineering and Integration, Program Management, Purchase & Supply Chain and Operations.

His specific areas of expertise are in being able to translate Customer Expectations into Products and transferring those insights into rapid product development.

He has contributed to all the Passenger vehicles that Tata Motors has produced thus far, and has been a part of the core team that has developed the Electric Vehicle Business at Tata Motors. His small and passionate team of engineers in the EV function have delivered 4 EV’s at “Electric Pace” to gain a 90% market share of the emerging EV market. On a standalone basis the EV vertical is now in the top 10 auto makers within the country.

 

Anand interacts with industry forums, government policy makers for EV’s, regulatory bodies and customers forums very regularly trying to create awareness about EV’s and also helping guide discussions towards more sustainable and progressive way.

 

Anand is a keen technology buff and is interested in photography, drones, and loves reading science fiction. He is a keen follower of the Marvel Universe

He is also a fairly accomplished cook and an avid foodie.
